How I became a Key Locksmith

I guess you could say that my journey to becoming a key locksmith started off pretty basic. I had always been interested in the trade, and I took some lockpicking classes in highschool. After college, I got a job as a security guard at a bank. For the first few years of my career, I continued to take lockpicking classes, and eventually I was able to land a position as a security guard/lock technician at a smaller bank. As time went on and my skills improved, I decided it was time to move up in the world. So, I started looking for bigger jobs and eventually ended up landing my current position as a key locksmith at a large bank. It’s been great working my way up through the ranks, and I’m very happy with my current position. I love the diversity that comes with being a key locksmith. It’s always interesting learning about new types of locks and trying to come up with solutions to difficult challenges. Plus, I get to work with lots of great people every day, which is definitely one of the perks of this job!
